All Hallows Ink
Get in the Halloween spirit by participating in Bluegrass Printmakers' annual All Hallows Ink gallery.
Artists of all ages are welcome to submit work in any medium for the All Hallows Ink virtual gallery exhibit. Work will be posted on our website and social media from Oct. 4-Nov. 4, 2021. Viewers will be able to vote for their favorite piece, with the top two vote-getters receiving Blick Art Supply gift cards ($35 and $15 respectively). Those who cast votes will be entered to win a print from a member of Bluegrass Printmakers (prize may not be the art piece voted on).
Eligibility: Open to all artists of any media.
Subject matter: Anything related to Halloween or just plain creepy
Entry fee: $10 for up to 3 images. Free for Bluegrass Printmakers members.
Deadline: September 30, 2021
Submit: Up to three images of artwork by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Images should be jpg or png (min. 150 dpi, 1 to 3 MB each).
Image files must have the following naming convention: ArtistName_Title.filetype.
Include a word document or a list in the body of the email which includes the following for each piece: artist name, piece title, size, medium/method, price or "NFS", website and social media, and a short statement of how the piece fits into the theme of the exhibit.
Bluegrass Printmakers retains a 30% commission on pieces sold through the exhibit. Artist is responsible for shipping piece to purchaser.
Accepted images will be used in the exhibit. By submitting you agree to let Bluegrass Printmakers use the image in the virtual exhibit and for promotion on social media and website.
